Occupational Therapy for Children
The occupational therapists at Hands 2 Feet have extensive experience working with children with a variety of developmental differences. They:
- have worked on multi-disciplinary teams in hospitals, schools, homes and community settings
- are knowledgeable of all aspects of a child’s development
- are committed to work in partnership with the parent/caregiver in every step of the intervention process
Therapists are registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) and have extra training or knowledge in:
- Sensory Integration (SI)
- Neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT)
- S.O.S Approach to Feeding
- Cognitive Orientation to daily Occupational Performance (CO-OP)
- Handwriting Without Tears/Learning Without Tears
- sensory-motor training
- handwriting remediation
- sensory diets
- self-care and life skills training
